The employer insurance & coverage product is designed for the artisan contractor trades and for those businesses that do not employ any other person other than the sole proprietor.

The base insurance product is workers' compensation insurance.
The premium is the maximum minimum premium for the class code that best describes the job functions performed daily.
The single employee, the owner or sole proprietor, must exclude him/her self from the workmans comp insurance coverage. Therefore, the annual premium is the maximum minimum for the class since we are not calculating a premium based on payroll.
The annual workers' compensation insurance premium must be paid in full prior to binding coverage
The insured must agree to purchase and participate in the weekly Text4Safety program. This service is not included in the workers' compensation insurance premium. It is an additional $120 per year.
The insured must respond to a weekly text message inquiring as to whether a person or persons have been hired in the previous week. Failure to answer truthfully is fraud. Should the Insured hire someone, not tell us and there is an injury to that person that the insurance carrier must pay, we will seek recovery from the Insured.
